Hello, I have an HP EliteBook 8560w and I can't figure out how to log in to Windows using the fingerprint reader. Here you can download drivers for HP EliteBook 6930p (KK080AV) laptop, or download software for automatic driver installation and update from DriverPack Solution. Download the latest version of HP EliteBook 6930p drivers according to your computer's operating system. All downloads available on this website have been scanned by the latest anti-virus software and are guaranteed to be virus and malware-free.

Hi,

Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

I understand you are unable turn on the Bluetooth in your system, but I would like to know some more information to narrow down the issue and provide you with better assistance.

  1. Did you install the latest compatible Bluetooth drivers from the HP website?
  2. Do you have any third party security program installed on the computer?

In order to diagnose and troubleshoot the issue, I would suggest you to try the following methods and check if the issue persists.

Method 1:

Run the Hardware Troubleshooter. The Hardware Troubleshooter is an automated tool which checks the hardware components on the computer for any known issues and provides the details on how to fix them. Follow these steps to run the troubleshooter.

a) Press “Windows Logo” + “X” keys from the keyboard, click Control Panel.

b) Type “Troubleshooting” in the search bar and press “Enter”.

c) In the “Troubleshooting” window, click on “View All” on the left pane.

Method 2:

Follow these steps to uninstall and reinstall the driver:

Step 1: Uninstall the Bluetooth Device Drivers

  1. Press “Windows Logo” + “X” keys on the keyboard.
  2. Click on “Device Manager” from that list.
  3. Search for the Bluetooth device from the device list, right click on it and then select “Uninstall”. On the un-installation window, if you have an option: “Delete the driver software for this device” you may select that and then remove the corrupted drivers from the computer.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete it and the restart the computer if prompted.
  5. After the restart, you may again open the Device Manager and then click on the “Scan for hardware changes” button at the top of the Device Manager window and check if Windows detects the Bluetooth device and installs an appropriate driver for it automatically. If that happens, then check if it resolves the issue. If the issue persists, then go with the next step.
