I just get the Windows 10 on my computer. Now I want to install my Microsoft Lifecam VX-3000, bud I cant, the disc say, that it is dangeous for my computer, to use the old driver with windows 10. I downloaded the driver for LifeCam VX=3000 on Windows 10 Creators version and I can now Skype call again. I did find though that Cortana is no longer available since downloading aforementioned driver.

Sorry for the inconvenience, as you have mentioned that driver for Microsoft LifeCam VX-3000 is not compatible with Windows 10. Refer to the below for more information regarding the issue.
But you may try to install the driver in Program Compatibility mode and check if it helps.
1. Tap on Windows Key and click on Search bar.
2. Type “Troubleshooting” without the quotes and click on Troubleshooting.
3. Then click on View All on the left panel of the screen.
4. Click on Program Compatibility Troubleshooter.

Microsoft LifeCam VX-3000 is not compatible with Windows 10.
However you may run the program in compatibility mode and check if it helps. Follow the below methods and check if it helps.
Method 1:
1. Right-click on the driver setup file and click on ‘properties’.

2. Click on the ‘compatibility’ tab and check the box ‘Run this program in compatibility mode for’ and select Windows 7/8 operating system from the drop down menu and proceed with the installation.

3. Once this is done, restart the computer and check if the issue persists.
Method 2: Uninstall the driver.
Go to the Device Manager (search in the Start menu), find your device, and upgrade the drivers by manually directing it to the setup disc that came with your camera. The drivers may be older but some people have had success with them in Windows 7.
